Best Beans on the Planet
This is one of those recipes that really embody true BBQ. Simple is always best and this bean recipe has proven that for years. It won “Best Beans on the Planet” early in my competition career and continues to win accolades with judges and more importantly friends and family.
Note: you’ll need cooked brisket for this recipe! It’s the secret ingredient that really makes these beans the best on the planet!
Ingredients:
2 - 15 ounce cans of Pork & Beans
1 - 15 ounce can of Dark Red Kidney Beans
1 - 15 ounce can of Black Beans
1 - small red onion (diced)

Many years ago I ate some Squash Rockefeller at a snazzy joint in Oklahoma City. The chef refused to give the recipe, so I made it my mission to not only create a recipe, but make one better!

4 large yellow squash
1/2 pound chopped frozen spinach
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 stick salted butter
1 teaspoon fresh garlic, finely chopped

Ingredients:
1 2lb bag of Cole Slaw Mix (or one head of cabbage and 2 carrots shredded)
1 Cup of Real Mayonnaise
1 Cup of Guilden’s Spicy Brown Mustard
1 small red onion (diced)
1 Cup of Golden Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Joe’s Pork and Poultry Rub
1 Tablespoon of Ground Red Pepper
